The busy road out front could snag your attention, especially if you’re trying to catch some rest. It’s a bit tricky to navigate around these streets, and you might miss the entrance due to the layout. I also noticed some worn decor that could use a refresh, but it adds to the building's aged character. Plus, there’s no escaping the odd noise that seeps in from the bar area if you’re in the wrong room.

The breakfast offered a delightful variety of healthy options.
The shower had low water pressure, making it less enjoyable.

Family with children are better off elsewhere
The receptionist was friendly and let us check in early, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the room was less than stellar. Stains everywhere and a shared bathroom that looked like it hadn't been touched in ages. We paid a decent price for all this, but it really wasn't worth it.
It felt pricey for the state of the hotel, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I had a wonderful stay with my family, especially my grandchild, who loved the attention from the incredibly friendly staff. The room was spacious and spotless, making it a fantastic base for exploring the city and easily visiting nearby attractions.
In my wife’s opinion, a small kids' play area would be great.

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the spacious double room with a nice view. The complimentary drinks at the bar were a pleasant surprise! The cozy lounge had some great books and games which made for perfect chill time after our day out. The only downside was the breakfast setup. we missed having more personal service, but everything else was spot on! 😊

Do recommend for a short layover
Comfortable room, pleasant staff, with free parking offered that made exploring the area easy given its proximity to the city center.
Couldn't fault.

Warm welcome and spacious room
I had a pleasant stay with very helpful staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was spacious with ample bench space, and the shared bathroom was never an issue during my stay. The large parking area was a bonus for convenience, though I would have appreciated having toiletries provided in the room.

missingWrote a review on Feb 21large car parkquiet bar areacleanliness issues
It has a large car park which is a must-have if you're traveling with bikes or a car. The bar area is decent, though it seemed quiet during my visit, it's a good spot for a post-adventure drink.
The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired—definitely not the place to kick off your shoes without feeling uneasy. The TV in the family room is tiny. not great for a group trying to relax after a long ride. Breakfast didn't hit the mark either, with just one sausage and two barely cooked pieces of bacon making the £10 feel like a scam. Plus, the central heating on a chilly January day was a bust, as it didn't kick in until mid-afternoon, leaving us to shiver unnecessarily.

Just a good pick for getting around the area in Northampton with outstanding value for money. The room furniture looked worn, but it fit my budget. Consider checking the cleanliness before settling in.

I enjoyed a drink at the lounge bar before bed. The staff made me feel welcome, and the bar was a nice place to unwind. The buffet breakfast the next morning had a good variety, but I did not try everything because I had an early checkout.
The check-out time felt too early for me. I would have liked to freshen up a bit before heading back.
